Today I am going to talk about the Country Mercantile Harvest Festival since that is where we spent our time this last week. In Pasco, WA. Enjoying family and friends. And capturing these precious moments.
My son absolutely loves WA, the harvest festival, and his Grandma and Grandpa Wood's house. When ever he gets in trouble he tells me he is going to walk to Grandma and Grandpa's house. When I informed him one time that it was 580 miles away he said that he would ride his bike then:) I love my little boy, he always keeps me laughing.
Ok, back to the Harvest Festival, it is fun to watch my kids run around with joy and and shrills of excitement. Riding out to the pumpkin patch and trying to pick up all the heavy pumpkins, pony rides, popcorn and cotton candy, balloons, climbing hay bales, racing through the hay bales, getting lost in a corn maze, checking out all the animals in the petting zoo. Riding the roller coaster, air plain ride, carousel and train ride, my kids never wanted to leave. And this place is special because it is owned my father and we have all worked here at some point or another and my daughter aspires to work there;) she says when she grows up she wants to be a buyer girl (cashier) there.
my parents and the grandkids
It was a nice little much needed vacation and it was nice to be around so many people who love and care about me.
